OneMic is a creative collective in Columbia, Missouri, hosting bi-monthly open mics on the last Wednesday of the month. They spotlight local poets, artists, and musicians, providing a space where every voice is heard and celebrated. Come and listen to members of the OneMic Collective perform their work.
This session also welcomes other writers and poets with work to share. Sign ups will be in the room. Find a festival volunteer and they will be able to point you to the right person!

Joe Chevalier, proprietor of Yellow Dog Bookshop, has a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien in books such as The Hobbit, The Silmarillion and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. In "Tolkien Heads," the Columbia community will put Joe's Tolkien knowledge to the test in a light-hearted "Joe versus the audience" contest. Are you a Tolkien Head?
